Soccer is the other name of emotion almost all over the world. The zeal of this game not only depends on the zest and enthusiasm of the players and spectators but also on the environment, ground condition and ultimately on the ball which is the mainstay. So, when you are determined to purchase a soccer ball you have to consider few things through the deal initially seems as simple as it sounds. Soccer ball which either cranks up its direction with the blow of wind or does not holds the expected velocity according to the level of given force due to heavy weight and undeserved size can spoil your whole match. Therefore, to choose the right soccer ball there are some factors that might be kept in sense while purchasing a soccer ball. This guide is all about it and tends to help you in this case providing some considering issues to ensure that you are going to have the right soccer ball according to your demands. Construction: Soccer balls are generally made of either polyvinyl carbonate (PVC) or Polyurethane (PU). Both elements are used individually to make different types of balls that are fit for different purpose. The ball made of PVC is cheaper than the ball made of PU. PVC balls are generally fit for playing indoor game or street soccer or for the training session. These balls are also larger than the PU balls and not fit for playing matches but have strong durability. On the hand, Balls that are made of PU is called match balls. They are being used in the high voltage matches or in the elite league or even in the national and international competitions. These balls are very smooth in the ground and maintain a good pace by being along with the foot control. What size soccer ball should one buy? Soccer balls come in five sizes basically. The size of soccer relates some issues to be considered such as- The type of the players (professional or non professional), their ages, ground condition, and so on. 1. Size one balls are usually use for training and recreational matches. These types of balls are also called skill balls. 2. Soccer players under the age of 4 use the ball size two. These types of balls are fit to train ball controlling, making shots etc to the children. 3. The ball size three use to train the children under the age of eight and also use for playing matches. These types of balls are also called the smallest official ball. 4. Soccer players between the age 8-12 use the ball size 4. These types of balls are fit for training and playing matches also called the medium official ball. 5. All soccer players over the age of 12 use the ball size five. These types of the ball generally fit for the professionals also known as match balls or largest official balls. The two major parts of the soccer balls: Soccer balls have two major parts. The outer layer is called casing and the inner layer is called bladder. The casing contains panels that are the octagon-shaped quilts vary ball to ball. The numbers of panels are not same on all balls. For instance, FIFA approved balls contain 32 panels whereas other manufactured balls are not obeyed this fixed number. The bladder is the inside tube layer that controls the air retention. They are two types- Latex and Butty. Latex bladder is soft and light in weight generally use for making match balls and on the other hand, latex bladder is used for making training balls generally the little bit harder than the Butty bladder and has higher air retention. The proper amount of Inflation: Over or underinflated both are equally harmful to the bladder and panel of a soccer ball. An overinflated ball bounces more and sometimes goes out of control. Similarly, an underinflated ball having less velocity according to the level of given force will not be fit for a match. So, inflation should be done according to its requirement and on every ball beside the valve, the required inflation is mentioned. The average inflation limit for soccer ball is 9-10.5 pounds of air. Which soccer balls are durable? The durability of a soccer ball mostly depends on its casing. The stronger the casing is the more durable a soccer ball is. As it is mentioned earlier that casing is made of generally two components- PVC AND PU you need to consider a fact in this note that what are the advantages and disadvantages of these two components that individually make facilitated a soccer player? The PVC casing is more durable than the PU but that doesn’t mean that you are being told to choose a PVC casing always. The fact is your purpose that means why you are tending to buy a soccer ball- to be trained or for playing the match, for the indoor game or for the league? For every different purpose, you need the different casing. For plying match PU casing is preferable and for training PVC casing would be the right selection. In a match, the pressure on a ball is more than a ball is being used in a training session. From this angle, you can say PVC is better than PU. The durability thus can be ensured by considering the purpose of the ball and whether the components are used at the right level. How to differ between Match balls and training balls? Enough related issues have been discussed regarding the types of the soccer balls and you already know that they are basically two types –Match balls and training balls. Hope you already got the idea what differs a match ball from a training ball, what different components thy possessed separately. Even so, you may get puzzled about this identification while purchasing a soccer ball. So, here are some simple tips to differ between match balls and training balls- Match balls shaped with 32 panels on the casing and have a soft Butyl bladder and all match balls are size 5 on the other hand training balls have different panels on casing and have harder bladder than match balls and also have size variations. 1. Match balls are lighter than the training balls In case of durability, Both types of balls are to be considered according to the components used and training balls are generally more durable than the match balls but failed to provide ease in the ground like match balls 2. Training balls have higher air retention than the match balls A FIFA approved match ball is great for any elite league and professional players can easily identify it. It would be a good decision discussing with an expert before buying a soccer ball. 3. Almost all the match balls are FIFA approved whereas training balls need not any approbation. What stages a does ball need to cross for getting FIFA approbation? No doubt a FIFA approbation soccer ball is guaranteed in case of quality and durability. To get FIFA approbation a soccer ball must cross some stages. A FIFA approved soccer ball strongly maintain the strict international match ball standards and properly tasted with- sphericity, weight, water absorption, rebound, level of components, casing and bladder, loss of pressure and so on. All the FIFA approved soccer balls have 32 panels on the casing and have Butyl bladder. They are light in weight but worth to keep pace with the blowing of the wind. The size five and give a responsive performance in any elite national and international matches. How to take care of a soccer ball: After every match clean and dry the ball. Keep it away from both direct sunlight or fire and extreme cold condition. Put it on the net after the match and don’t use it while playing on a rocky or sandy ground. If you possessed a match balls use it only in high voltage matches and for other local matches you can use the training balls. Note that for every kind of ground different types of soccer balls are available. Don’t use a beach soccer ball as a match ball similarly don’t use a match ball for a beach soccer match. While inflating you need to be concern about underinflated and over inflating. Both phenomena are enough to spell the death of the casing and bladder of your ball. Pricing: It is very natural that high quality cost much. Generally, match balls cost the little bit more than the training balls. Apart from, the higher the level of components used for making soccer balls the more it will cost. One of the most unsightly things in a home is a sagging floor. This is common in many homes where the wooden floors have been affected by different adverse environmental conditions thus leading to sagging floors. This might only be bad because it is not attractive to look at. However, in some cases, these sagging floors could affect the foundation of the walls which then also affects the roof. The situation cannot be ignored and needs to be rectified. To rectify this and restore the structural integrity of the house, you need lumber that is used for construction and a screw jack. Making Preparations The first thing you need to do is to locate the sagging part of the floor. You need to identify the lowest point on the floor. To do this, rest a marble on the floor. It will roll and stop at the lowest point. The next step is to note exactly where this area lies in the basement or the crawl space, depending on what your house has. The next part is to prepare the timber that you are going to use. Cut 2 by 6 beams of lumber. Ensure that it is long enough to cover the area of the sagging floor. You do not need to cover the entire length. Proceed to cut two more lengths of the lumber that are about half the length of what you cut in the beginning. Using 16d nails, nail each set of the 2 by 6 beams of lumber. Ensure that your nails span about 12 inches for the interval on the length of each set of beaks. Now nail all of the sets together. This will form a 2 by 6 riser board using the beams. Rectifying the Sagging Now you get to raise the floor using a best floor jack in order to stop it from sagging. Take your floor jack and place it in the crawl space where your floor is sagging. Near the worm thread screw, at the jack’s top is a hole into which you need to slide the steel pipe into. Now turn the screw clockwise using the handle so as to raise the jack. This should continue until it is about a foot higher than the floor joists above. Now place the 2 by 6 riser assembly that you prepared and place it on the floor jack’s crown. Secure this riser assembly through the nailing holes provided on the boards. After this, continue turning the handle to create a raising motion until the riser assembly is at the same level as the floor joists. At this point, you need to nail this assembly onto the floor joists. This process has to continue as you move outwards. Remember that you started at the lowest point of the sagging floor. Therefore work outwards under the same directions: lifting and nailing the riser assembly as it makes contact with the floor joists. Stop the process once you have managed to level out the floor.
