Even though I have been involved in a couple of successful affiliate projects alongside my web agency business, I do not want to claim that I am a so-called super affiliate. However, not by affiliate marketing and would not mind titling me super Affiliate in the future. Some of the reasons why I am excited about working with affiliate marketing include:

It can provide relatively passive income and the opportunity to make money 24 hours a day.
Relatively small expenditure in the form of capital is required.
You can work whenever and wherever you want, the only thing required is a computer and internet connection.
If you succeed, there is big money to be made.
In this blog post, I will try to guide you on how to become a super affiliate in ten steps.
What is Affiliate Marketing?
Before we go into the ten steps, I want to begin by explaining what affiliate marketing is to something. In short, it can be said that it is about getting paid to advertise other companies' products or services.
The difference between more traditional marketing is that you do not advertise your products. One advantage is that you do not have to create your product yourself, but can market products that have already proven successful.
Another difference is that you are usually also paid to generate traffic in the form of leads (potential customers) or sales when you work as an affiliate.
As a payment, you usually get a Cost Per Action (CPA) which is a fixed sum for each lead/sale or some form of Revenue Share (profit sharing) which is a percentage of sales. There are also so-called hybrids that consist of a combination of CPA and Rev-Share, i.e. some fixed compensation in conjunction with a variable part.
In affiliate marketing, there are almost always 3-4 different players. These are the "Seller" (a person or company providing the product), you as "Affiliate" and "Customer".
Sometimes an "Affiliate Network" is also involved as an intermediary between the seller and you as an affiliate. Examples of affiliate networks are Adrecord, Adtraction, and Tradedoubler.
What distinguishes a super affiliate from a regular member?
A super affiliate is among the best in its niche and usually generates the most and most profitable leads, and thus they get paid more than other members. A super affiliate is very valuable, and they have considerable power. They can demand higher compensation and better terms because they are so crucial to the seller. A super member does not have to share their revenue to an affiliate network but usually negotiate directly with the vendor. If they do not get what they require, they can choose to market a competitor instead. This negotiating position should not be underestimated.
