Shôji Meguro presents Guns Undarkness, his first independent game

Known to the public as the historical composer of Atlas and especially the Persona Franchise, Shoji Metro decided to follow his desires by leaving Allude to become an independent worker and create his own games. Starting with Guns Darkness, which was unveiled as part of Indie Live Expo Winter 2021.

Developed by Shoji Metro with its own ways as well as with the support of the Romansh Game Creators Lab program, Guns Darkness is an infiltration RPG to the 3rd person taking place in 2045 in a future ravaged by a nuclear war. The player belongs to a private military society and responds to different team contracts. In the facts, the game has a mixture between a gameplay based on infiltration and the turn controls per round of a traditional RPG.

Tackling enemies without being detected will give a definite advantage from the beginning of the fight, especially since the challenge is also to manage its resources. We will have the opportunity to improve its arsenal thanks to the materials recovered on the remains of the enemies. Should it be specified, in addition to developing the game, Shoji Metro takes care of composing music with the help of the Lotus Juice lyrics (Persona). The Russian illustrator Ilya Ustinov ( ghost in the shell: bag2045 ) will participate in the creation of the characters. GUNS DARKNESS has no release date yet but will be available on Steam.
