India Gate is a war memorial also called as All India War Memorial located near the Rajpath. It was built in the memory of 70,000 soldiers of the British Indian Army who died in the First World War and Second Anglo-Afgan was happened in between 1914-21. The establishment of this monument was completed in the year of 1921 but it was unveiled to the audience in 1933.
