Diving involves a great deal of special equipment. Most likely you will learn what you need to have, how to select it, and how to take care of it from your instructor, from scuba retail stores, or even from scuba books and magazines. Don’t plan on cutting any corners when it comes to acquiring your scuba gear. Quality counts and it will make all the difference down the road. Diving is an enjoyable sport, but it won’t be if you have constant equipment issues.
