Red Dead Despite the popular stigmas about video gaming, (which only serve as a source of annoyance and are on most levels, untrue) The gaming industry is beginning to flourish. A lot like the revolution that the movie industry saw in the 20th century, the video gaming industry is seeing an all-time rise. Red Dead Redemption 2 Red Dead is definitely a gaming classic. Since it’s release a few years ago, the game has maintained its place amongst the players’ favorites. What else can you expect from a game that draws from classic westerners and gangster stories? Just like the wild west, the game too can be fairly crude and violent. But it’s breathtaking vistas, and richly cinematic essence cannot be denied. The very fact that it is built on murky moral choices, frontier law, and violence makes it the success that it is. We have clearly highlighted the violence in this game but let us also state that it is anything but mindless. Given that the main character, Arthur Morgan, is a gang member with the restoration of the gang’s glory being his main goal, you can hardly call his actions mindless. The heists and shootouts can even be avoided, but this does come at a cost. Workaround the shootouts and you’re likely to be hunted down by a sheriff soon enough. What makes these video games so much more exciting than movies and other mediums of entertainment is how immersive they are. Instead of simply witnessing a story, you get to participate in it. You can interact with and choose how it unfolds. Under all it’s fancy features, Red Dead is essentially a survival game. Most people that have completed the Red Dead Redemption 2 are left wanting more. Thanks to Red Dead Online, you can continue indulging in this world of westerners. Red Dead Online further expands on the characters and story-line of the original Red Dead Redemption 2. Having only recently seen a new update that introduced The Naturalist along with the Bounty Hunter, Moonshiner, Trader, and Collector, it seems like Red Dead Online players are in for another surprise update before the end of the year. With Halloween approaching, it wouldn’t be shocking to receive new spooky features. So if you fail to enjoy the festivities physically this year, this is a good alternative. Seasonal content aside, the new update might also introduce a new outlaw pass. However, Rockstar hasn’t given out any official information regarding the update yet so hold your anticipation for the time being.
