Black Widow The role of Black Widow was played by the actress Scarlett Johansson in The Avengers 2012. At the time of her casting, she was compared with another contender for the role of Black Widow, Emily Blunt. However, the role was given to Scarlett, but if we look at today’s date for replacing Scarlett, then Haley Bennett is the best actress who can play the role of Black Widow out of several actresses who are good contenders for this role.
