1. Press the power button on the HP 1350 printer. Leave the device on; when ready, the power button will stop blinking and be stable.

2. Open the scanner cover by lifting it upwards. Load the original document to be scannedon the scanner glass followed by closing the scanner cover.

3. Click "Start" followed by "All Programs," after which, you will have to select ‘HP Director’. Before the scanning takes place, make sure that the program is fully loaded.

4. Press the "Scan" button on your printer. This will launch the scanner and begin scanning the document. You will see a preview on the computer screen as the document scans. When it is finished, click "Accept". The document was scanned and saved to the destination folder.
