The team of Avatar 2 released a new set of photos that teases the audience with its human command vessel that will take to the seas. Avatar 2 is an upcoming science-fiction movie directed by James Cameron. The film is the first sequel of the franchise. Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Stephen Lang, Giovanni Ribisi, Joel David Moore, Dileep Rao, CCH Pounder, and Matt Gerald are reprising their original roles. While Kate Winslet, Cliff Curtis, Edie Falco, Brendan Cowell, Michelle Yeoh, Jemaine Clement, Oona Chaplin, CJ Jones, and Vin Diesel joined the franchise. After the first installment release, Cameron shared that he would like to make the film’s sequel. However, due to the lack of high technology to properly capture performance underwater, the project was on hold for a long time. The director spent years developing high technology shooting apparatus and started the filming of Avatar 2 on 15 August 2017 and Avatar 3 on 25 September 2017. After three years of shooting, the production work was completed this year. The team plans to release three sequels on 16 December 2022, 20 December 2024, 18 December 2026, and 22 December 2028, respectively. The director has teased the shooting process for Avatar 2, which looks very complicated. Cameron is best known for his science film and epic movies. Some of his commercially successful projects include Titanic, The Terminator, The Abyss, True Lies, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Aliens, and Avatar. The incredible director received three Academy Awards for the film Titanic in Best Director, Best Picture, and Best Film Editing. The Oscar winner has recently shared a new picture on Twitter of a human command vessel. He said the photos are the last set of images of 2020, but Avatar 2 might have more surprises. Along with the vessel’s photos, a picture shows a camera set up attached with the Mercedes Benz, which is probably used to drive around the boat and capture the characters. Cameron captioned the post as: The last set for 2020 filming —The Matador (a 50’ forward command boat) on a 16-ton, 360-degree motion-control base. Three Technocranes and a Russian Arm mounted on top of a Mercedes-Benz. Just another day on the set of the Avatar sequels. The first movie of the franchise Avatar, did a groundbreaking business and broke several box office records. It became the highest-grossing film at the time. The film was nominated for nine Academy Awards and won three, including Best Art Direction, Best Cinematography, and Best Visual Effects. The movie’s cinematography and visual effects received appreciation; however, it was criticized for the lack of good storytelling. Hopefully, the director took proper measures to repeat the same mistakes and worked on the storytelling this time. Otherwise, the franchise cannot be saved, relying on technical expertise. However, the human vessel’s look gives a sense that Avatar 2 will continue the same plot. The plot of the movie continues the old story after thirteen years. Neytiri and Jake Sully have formed a family. They have a little daughter of around 10-12 years old. The couple is forced to leave their home and explore the other part of Pandora. Avatar 2 sure is an amazing movie, and it has created many speculations among the audience. The films so far look exciting for the technological innovations and excellent cast involved with the project. The team spends $400 million on the project. It is yet to watch if the upcoming will be able to surpass the collection of the previous film. Source-New Avatar 2 Pictures Reveals The New Human Command Boat
