Are you looking to support non-profit basketball clubs? If so, you are not alone. Basketball is one of the most popular sports for kids and it's just naturally neat that non-profit organizations would find a way to promote it. Nowadays, with the way things are going in the economy, the government and private organizations are finding ways to give back to the communities by donating money and support for various projects. This has made it very easy for non-profit sports clubs to get donations, raise funds, and provide assistance to underprivileged kids who wish to pursue their dreams of basketball.

But it isn't always easy to get donations from big business or the government. Most big businesses and governments do not want to see organizations like these becoming successful, so they often try to block them by putting up roadblocks. This can be quite frustrating for non-profit organizations because many of them depend on these donations. So, what are some of the key stakeholders in this area of support for the sport?

The first key stakeholder is the school administration. Often, sports clubs are supported by the school administration, because it's seen as their duty to look after their students. The school administration may be reluctant to give money to non-profit organizations, however, because they may feel that it is a competition, where the schools are trying to beat each other. On the other hand, if non-profit organizations are successful, the school will gain some financial benefits in the end, even if they lose out on the revenue that they would have enjoyed had they been able to raise money themselves. The next key stakeholder parents. Whether they are supportive or not, parents are the key source of income for many sports clubs.

Parents are also the main supporters of most non-profit organizations. That being said, some schools don't really see it as their responsibility to support such clubs. When parents are actively involved in the process of fundraising for their sports club, they are more engaged in making actual strategic decisions about the way that the money raised will be spent. These strategic decisions often have an effect on the level of success that the clubs achieve. By making strategic decisions about funding, enrollment, and activity, parents can ensure that their local community aims are met.

As mentioned above, one of the key strategic dilemmas facing organizations that work in the non-profit sector is how to align their organizational, strategic goals with those of the local community. Most organizations make their decisions about funding and enrolment primarily by engaging with local residents. However, the fact that most residents are not in the vicinity of the schools that the club focuses its fundraising efforts on can mean that the funding decisions can fail to take into account other important factors. One such factor is the desire of the residents to see their children succeed in sporting activities. If the fundraisers are seen as a means of achieving this, the local residents may actually perceive the money raised as their direct contribution towards achieving the school's and community's educational aims.
