After leaving the scourge in Sindh and Punjab in Chulistan, ARY News reported on Sunday that a locust herd has already attacked hundreds of hectares of wheat and mustard crops in Sahiwal.

Sahivala and the surrounding areas have now landed seeds that eat grain. Locusts have attacked standing wheat, mustard and potato crops on hundreds of hectares of agricultural land in Comer, Harappa, Bangla, Chichawatani and other areas of the region.

The provincial department of agriculture advised farmers to take precautions to protect their crops from locust attacks.

Insects that eat crops cause hunger by eating crops and all plants found anywhere.

In June this year, a swarm of locusts attacked cotton fields in the Khairpur, Skur and Ghotki regions of Sindh. Offensive farmers were forced to bear hundreds of thousands of rupees due to the loss of grain.

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) warned in the first week of September that locust conditions in Pakistan were "most dangerous" when the second generation of insects was born.

According to the FAO grassland monitoring report, there is still a risk of additional reproduction, which could lead to an increase in the number of locusts, and herds are likely to develop from the end of September.

ARY News reported on Friday that the Interior Ministry had issued written instructions to the relevant authorities to file an appeal challenging the acquittal of the suspects in the false Sahiwal confrontation case.

Following instructions from Prime Minister Imran Khan, the Ministry of the Interior issued a written instruction in a letter from which ARY live news updates obtained a copy and sent it to the Inspector General of Police (IGP) and the Secretary of the Punjab Province for appeal. Decision in the case of a fake Sahiwal meeting

The letter stated that the accusation did not prove the involvement of the suspects in the case, as the witnesses did not record their allegations about the accident.

"This is an unfortunate and frightening precedent because government agencies are involved in undermining the justice of victims," he said.

The Ministry ordered the relevant authorities to immediately execute the Prime Minister's orders to file an appeal to bring the perpetrators to justice, while demanding public prosecution to prove his case with true witnesses.

Its task is to set up a high-level committee to investigate and identify shortcomings in investigations and prosecutions.

"The committee should also identify the defaulters and commissions in the various national agencies whose actions have benefited the suspects / their inaction. Specific recommendations should be made to address such shortcomings in the system and ensure justice for the victims of the tragedy.
