It is directed by Lin-Manuel Miranda and screenplay written by Steven Levenson based on the semi-autobiographical musical of the same name by Jonathan Larson. Tick Tick Boom movie is the directorial debut of actor, songwriter and rapper, Lin-Manuel Miranda and he also produces this film alongside Brian Grazer, Ron Howard, and Julie Oh. The music is by Larson, while Alice Brooks is in charge of cinematography and Ryan Heffington will be choreographing the dances.
