How Was The Diploma Of Business Management And How Did It Help Me In The Real World?

As we know the real world is very different from what you are taught in the four walls of the classroom. It is a real transition from theory to being able to put things into practice. I was always interested in management, handling businesses. 

I knew my passion would have to be tested in unfamiliar waters. I did a Diploma of Business Management from the Vocational Careers Institute and I don’t think there is even a day when I regret this decision of mine. 

There is a wide range of career courses in Australia 

The Vocational Careers Institute has something for everyone with their range of courses. I even met with a few people who were pursuing other courses at the time. In fact, my two best friends were also at the Institute. One was doing his BSB51918  Diploma of Leadership and Management. The other was pursuing a diploma in hotel management. 

What did I learn through the courses?

Through my BSB50215 Diploma of Business course, I was taught the specifics of business management, how businesses function in the market, what skills are needed to be a good leader, how to build brands and take them forward and so much more. I would recommend the BSB50215 Diploma of Business course to anyone looking for practical experience in addition to learning. They give you a chance to actually work on projects and be a part of every step of the management process. 

The BSB51918  Diploma of Leadership and Management is for those who want a grounding in being pioneers of projects 

Everyone is born with leadership skills but you often need a push in the right direction to actually make something out of this. I would suggest you check out this course if you think you have the potential to lead and manage a team and a project. 

Thanks to the Vocational Careers Institute for exposing me to these career courses in Australia that have taught me so much. Most of all, they have made me realize how the real world functions and how to keep a cool head in a time of a crisis situation.
