Enjoy Your Desert Safari in the United Arab Emirates In 2021

Abu Dhabi Corniche:

The Corniche is a waterfront road in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, stretching from the Emirate of Abu Dhabi to the north-eastern end of Abu Dhabi Island, where it meets the Persian Gulf. The Corniche is a major landmark, and location of many hotels and resorts. It is a long stretch of waterfront that runs parallel to the UAE's eastern coastline. From the western shoreline youll be able to visit the emirate of Dubai, and from the eastern end holiday shoppers can head to full-blown yachts on the large river waterways. There are several cruise ships moored in the port of Abu Dhabi, and from May to September, the ship’s casino offers ship-themed entertainment such as shoot ‘n’ bow. The Grand Dubai Safari is another ship that offers visitors life-size exhibits in the shape of camels. The Desert Safari in the United Arab Emirates runs seven days per week and features a variety of activities, including camel riding, disco balls sculpted into animals, and swimming with babyelephants. Silver Sea National Park is a pristine desert landmass located in the United Arab Emirates. Surrounded by tall, high stone cliffs, Silver Sea has a dramatic coastline that stretches for more than 1,500 miles across the Indian Ocean. The area is part of the Doha Watershed National Park, where brown salt flats carpet the landscape. Red pumas and leopards inhabit the region, along with sand paintings of ships and emirates. Walking along the coast of Silver Sea National Park, visitors will discover the hidden lighthouse known as the Light House, and the sophisticated spas and restaurants of Wär, Satwa, and Ajman. Both the Light House and Satwa Light Factory have intricate copper lighting that takes thousands of hours to construct. Talk to these gifted locals and soak in the resort-like ambiance—it’s truly a sight to behold. On your short visit to Abu Dhabi, consider taking a boat trip around the Emirates. Between Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah is an expansive beach known as the Red Sea Sand Beach.

Sheikh Zayed Mosque:

The mosque was constructed in memory of the founding father of the UAE, Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The mosque was designed by Emirati architect Rachid Gaabane. During annual Hajj, millions of Muslims from around the world converge on Mecca to commemorate the tent where the prophet Muhammad is said to have slept. For that reason, it is home to many upscale shopping centers, including Burj Khalifa and Burj Al Arab. Dubai has amazing beaches, particularly its rocky coastline, which provides some of the most signature views in the region. While you can paddle to one of the many beaches on the outskirts of the city, the best view is to walk along the coast. Climbing to the top of the Burj Khalifa is the most popular way to experience the skyscrapers of this city. The Yusufiya beachfront promenade is the most popular place to take visitors to the Emirates Peninsula

Liwa Desert:

The Liwa oasis is a popular desert oasis region located in Abu Dhabi Emirate in the United Arab Emirates, about 45 km to the east of the capital city, Abu Dhabi. The area was declared a protected area in 1980, and has a total area of 9,544 hectares, of which 7,700 hectares are natural reserve. Second only to Venice Beach in California, it’s hard to find a more idyllic place to escape the hot midday sun. When it comes to the desert, the Liwa oasis is considered the place to be, with brilliant blue skies and long hot evenings perfect for strolling. There are several lesser known beaches in the Liwa Desert; here are two favorites: Al Batin, which is a privately owned beach that is accessed via a private walkway from Al Ain International Airport, and Al Aweer, which is linked to the city by a walkway that traverses the desert. Both are lovely, although Al Aweer doesn't get as much tourist traffic since it is a bit farther from the center. About three hours south of Abu Dhabi, near the border with Oman, you’ll find the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, the headquarters of the emirates' government, which houses some of the world’s most beautiful religious sites. As someone with relatives in the Middle East, it meant the world to me when I learned that the world’s oldest continuously running annual festival, the Nasional Festival, takes place every August in the city of Abu Dhabi. 

Heritage Village:

The Heritage Village is a tourist attraction in Ajax, where you can visit historical buildings from the 19th century, such as a schoolhouse, a church and a jail. It’s a great place to see if you’re interested in the history of the town or just like old things. This family-owned hotel situated on Ensinger Mountain is located within walking distance to the Grand Oasis and the Sheikh Rashid Bridge. You can enjoy the views of the Blue Coast Mountains from the glazed facade of the hotel. It’s a short walk from the arcade next to the hotel, which houses eight delicious restaurants, including one named the “Cat Cafe,” locally known as the “Cat of Emirates.” Dubai features three magnificent climbing areas, including the Sheikh Rashid Bridge and Burj Khalifa Tower. For added adventurous experience, try camel trekking or simply climb tall sand dunes. Dubai is home to several natural environments that include Palm Jumeir Mountains, the Burj Khalifa and the beaches of Bur Dubai. Add the Grand Wahiba expressway and sometimes nasty traffic, and you’ll need to plan fun activities around it. Beachside bungalows make a great choice as an overnight stay. With indoor facilities such as pools and gyms, the Dubai Health Club provides a great run for exercisers of all ages and ability levels. The Health Club covers a wide range of activities, from Latin dancing to group fitness classes, so you can choose the best option with "Captain Dunes". Moreover, the entire club is located at ground level, so you can take a dip in a heated pool without bending over. For relaxation after your workout, there’s always the underwater wellness center, where you’ll get a relaxing massage. 

Yas Island:

Yas Island is an entertainment, residential and business district located on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Yas Island is operated by Miral Asset Management and Aldar Properties. Yas Island currently features Ferrari World, Yas Waterworld, Yas Mall, the Yas Viceroy Abu Dhabi hotel, and is home to the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 circuit. Jubail is the sunny destination located on the southwestern coast of the U.A.E. While all of its landmarks are in the process of being rebuilt due to the recent attack on the island, all you need to do is visit the Grand Mosque for a guided tour. If you ever find yourself in the water later, do the iffy, but exciting, idea of swimming naked. Jubail is also home to the U.A.E.'s only diamond mine. Don't miss the Freedom Park, a hostel, bathhouse, and restaurants called Al Nahyoun which offer the romantic experience of meeting someone from another culture for the first time. It measures 856 feet high and was completed in 2010. The very view and breathtaking views from the 43rd floor of the building make this an unbelievable experience. Ras Al Khaimah is a large island in the Indian ocean. A short flight to Europe, these water-filled islands are beloved by many dive tourists. Just be sure to pack appropriate clothing before venturing out onto the vacant beaches.
