photographers salt lake city At some point this summer, you will probably want to take a vacation. The aim of this article is to provide you with a general idea of what destinations to consider for your next trip. Keep in mind that there are a lot of factors to weigh when choosing a premium vacation spot--things like distance, cost, diversity of activities, personal interests, time, weather etc. It can get pretty messy over thinking all of these things, so the best idea is to simplify as much as possible. Ultimately the most important factors in your vacation destination decision comes down to three things: what do you want to do? Where do you want to go? How much money can you spend? Once you've answered these questions it's time to pack up and leave. However, if you're having trouble here is a list of some great places in the U.S to consider for your next trip. The Pacific Northwest- Yea, this is more of a region than a specific destination, but let's start from a coast and expand out. For your urban fix there is Seattle and Portland; the lush outdoors are but minutes away, and there are great restaurants, cafes, museums, galleries, bars, music venues, and every other variety of entertainment and culture you can imagine. Don't forget the pristine wilderness that envelops this region! Plenty of state and national parks are scattered throughout to keep you blissfully immersed in the beauty of nature. Yosemite- Ok, this is a specific place to go. If you've never been here, or if you have--go, and go again. Located in the central eastern part of California, it is a spectacular wilderness preserve with so much hiking, camping, fishing, climbing, and photographic opportunities you will never feel totally satisfied. Make sure you come prepared for the crowds though! In the summertime it is unlikely that you will find much serenity in the heart of the park itself, but the seclusion is there if you're dedicated enough. Lace up your best photographers salt lake city and head for Tuolumne Meadows for a backpacking adventure. Arizona, Utah and Colorado- The mountain west/southwest is always a prime vacation destination, and if you're inclined towards the outdoors, these states are must visits. Arizona boasts the Grand Canyon and a spectacular expanse of desert that is home to the Navajo nation. The beautiful arid landscape and the rich indigenous history make Arizona a worthy destination. The rest of the four corners region also offer a stunning array of activities like river rafting, rock climbing, mountaineering, and backpacking. The diversity of terrain and the proximity to the city in place like Salt Lake and Denver make the mountain west an ideal destination for the outdoor enthusiast. Austin, Texas- The capital of Texas is one city you should visit if you never visit any other city in Texas. The political and cultural hub of the state is full of vibrant life and plenty to do and see. The downtown area contains some of the best bars, restaurants, and music venues in the West. You'll experience plenty of cultural diversity as well from the University of Texas Austin campus at the heart of the city. If you're there at the right time you could even catch the Austin City Limits and South by Southwest music festivals. Chicago and the Great Lakes- If you're thinking of doing anything in the midwest, the Great Lakes are a must for the agenda. A great trip idea is to head up to Chicago and spend a couple days on Lake Michigan. The Indiana Dunes state park is right across the state line and is fun place to go on a hot day--lovely sand and cold water. Of course, while you're here, you can visit the Art Institute of Chicago, the Natural History Museum, and take in some great shopping and a deep dish pizza downtown. New England- If you're inclined to head to the east coast, a trip to New England is well worth your while. Colonial history, generations of multi-cultural traditions, some of the best universities in the world, sports, beautiful landscapes, and the finest seafood make this region a destination that will please anyone. From the narrow streets and family bars of Boston to the bucolic woods of New Hampshire, you're unlikely to be disappointed here. photographers salt lake city Wherever your vacation plans take you remember to travel prepared for the local and environment.
