Thanos is considered to be the most powerful supervillain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The actor Josh Brolin is playing the role of Thanos in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He was first introduced in the film, Avengers: Infinity War. He has defeated most of the superheroes of the team Avengers in the film. There are six Infinity Stones in Thanos’ snap, which makes him more powerful. Thanos defeated many superheroes of the Avengers, including the massive Hulk, the Asgardians, and more.
Thanos is one of the Eternals. Celestial created the humanoids and also created the X-gene in humans and Deviants, who are religious and more science-oriented Eternals. With the result of excessive mutation, some of them are considered monsters. Thanos has a Deviant gene inside him which is why he looks like Grimace and also has a trademark chin.
The Eternals is an upcoming Hollywood superhero movie based on the Marvel Comics. It is produced by Marvel Studios. The director of this film is Chloe Zhao, and the writers of this film are Kaz and Ryan Firpo. The casting of the film includes various celebrities like Richard Madden, Gemma Chan, and more. This film is going to release after the success of Avengers: Endgame, in which The Eternals, who have hidden for thousands of years, must re-unite to protect Earth from their enemies who are the Deviants.
The connection of Thanos in Marvel’s upcoming movie The Eternals can create opportunities for the MCU’s future by setting up a new Avenger for Phase 5. The characters included in the film Eternals are not that much known as compared to that of Marvel’s other movies like Avengers, Thor, Hulk, Iron Man, Etc. It will be the second movie produced by Marvel after Black Widow. The story of this movie revolves around the Celestials and the Deviants.
According to the comics, the connection between the Eternals and the MCU was established a long time ago. Thanos can play a small role in the upcoming film Eternals to carry this connection further. This can eventually help the Marvel Cinematic Universe to grow also with some new and unique superheroes.
Here we will describe how Eternal’s Thanos connection could set up a new Avenger for Phase 5.
Thanos’ Brother In Marvel Comics Explained
Thanos and his brother Eros was first introduced in the Marvel comic, Iron Man #55. Thanos and Eros both are associated with the Titanian branch of Eternals. Titan is a colony formed by A’lars with some Eternals on the moon of Saturn. Several years ago, A’lars left the Earth to form Titan. Thanos and Eros are the children of A’lars. However, they both have different personalities because of the Deviant gene present in the evolution of Thanos. Thanos is cruel, whereas the Eros is a fun-loving character. Thanos is the only character among his species that possesses a Deviant gene. Later, Thanos turned against his people, but on the other hand, Eros always stood like a backbone of his father and opposed Thanos for his death-obsessed behavior.
What A Thanos Connection Could Mean For Marvel’s Eternals Movie
Marvel has an opportunity to show the connection between Thanos and the Eternals. It can be done by showing the back-story scenes, like how Eternals left the Earth, how A’lars managed to form Titan on the Moon of the Saturn, and by showing a small role played by young Thanos. It can also connect Eternals with both films, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. Marvel can also show the big Thanos on the screen to blow the minds of the audience.
What Marvel Can Do With Starfox In Phase 5
Marvel has another excellent opportunity to include Starfox in the upcoming film Eternals. If Marvel plans for the inclusion of Starfox, they will have several options to choose the role for him. Marvel can also introduce Starfox in other cosmic movies like Thor: Love and Thunder, Captain Marvel 2, and more. After establishing the power and origin of the Eternals, Marvel will get several opportunities to use Starfox in any MCU movie and whenever MCU needs him.
After exploring the theory of the Eternals and Thanos’ connection with Marvel and Eternals, we have concluded that Marvel has an excellent opportunity to show and depict the relationship between Thanos and the Eternals that can set up a new Avenger for the Phase 5 in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) are two of the most prominent American Media franchises in the global cinematic world. They have built a stellar reputation with their fantasy and superhero scripts to entertain the audience. MCU’s Iron Man, Captain America, and DCEU’s Wonder woman, Superman has delighted fans of all ages. Till now, the two cinematic universes’ have never had a crossover.
However, an ardent movie fan has achieved the impossible in his fan art. His art showcases the two supervillains Thanos and Darkseid, from MCU and DCEU as rap gods in this Marvel/DC crossover. Both the villains have had numerous appearances in multiple comic books over the past couple of years.
Snapokolips: A Rap Battle of Two Cosmic Beings
A brand-new piece of artwork by SPDRMNKYXXIII features the two villains. The fan art album cover shows Darkseid looking in a particular direction and Thanos sitting on speakers waiting to drop a beat. The artist has titled the album- Snapokolips. According to reports, the title has taken inspiration from Bad Meets Evil album- Hell: The Sequel. Not many people are aware, but the Snapokolips have been derived from Thanos’ snap and Darkseid’s home Apokolips.
The artwork can appeal as a humorous attempt to both MCU and DCEU fans. This might not answer the question of who is more powerful, but it will bring fans forward to debate who would win a rap battle between the two cosmic beings.
MCU’s Biggest and Baddest Supervillain
Thanos is a supervillain popping up in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The mad titan is the creation of Jim Starlin and debuted in The Invincible Iron Man#55 (1973). The Marvel Cinematic Universe took a decade to build up to Thanos’ story. He finally made a full-fledged appearance in Avengers: Infinity War on his quest across the universe in search of the cosmic Infinity Stones. The titan’s only goal was to wipe out half of the universe to maintain a balance. However, his story arc was completed in Avengers: Endgame, where he was snapped out of existence by Iron Man. This culminated in MCU’s Phase 1- Phase 2.
DCEU’S Most “Notorious†Villain
Darkseid is one of the most notorious villains. He was created by Jack Kirby and first made an appearance in Superman’s Pal Jimmy Olsen#134 in November 1970. The cosmic being made his official debut in Forever People#1 in February 1971. He is yet to appear in DC’s feature films. Darkseid was due to appear in Zack Snyder’s Justice League, but his role was shelved once Snyder stepped down from the director’s position, and Joss Whedon took over.
