The Amlaprash made at TBOF is very similar to the handmade kitchen remedies of our wise forest folk and their descendants. This is the traditional chyawanprash recipe with increased quantities of Amla and is sweetened by Mishri or khadi saakhar. The TBOF Amlaprash (our recipe of the traditional chyawanprash with some extra Amlas) can be had either in the morning or evening or both times if so prescribed. For children, it is best to have a small spoonful once a day. It can be mixed with desi cow milk or just eaten off the spoon.
