Making of Traditional Amlaprash (Chyawanprash) I Boost your immunity with Ancient Ayurvedic Recipe!!
The Amlaprash made at TBOF is very similar to the handmade kitchen remedies of our wise forest folk and their descendants. This is the traditional chyawanprash recipe with increased quantities of Amla and is sweetened by Mishri or khadi saakhar.
When the sweet taste buds are tickled, it makes everyone more agreeable doesn’t it? 😊 We all know that a “spoonful of sugar makes the medicine go down†.That wisdom too is at play here by adding misri (natural rock sugar) to the sweet-sour amla.
These berries are hand plucked, grown with no chemical pesticides. When combined with the TBOF A2 Gir cow ghee, it is a mighty digestion booster, with immunity building and anti-aging properties.
The mixture is time consuming to make and is 100% natural.
Make it part of your breakfast routine, if you haven’t already.
The TBOF Amlaprash (our recipe of the traditional chyawanprash with some extra Amlas) can be had either in the morning or evening or both times if so prescribed.
For children, it is best to have a small spoonful once a day. It can be mixed with desi cow milk or just eaten off the spoon.
The Chyavanprash could help dispel lethargy or listlessness of the brain and body. It also carries strong anti aging properties and is known to be a stimulant - it contains mild aphrodisiac benefits.
What is important to understand is that while a herbal product like this can go a long way in adding power packed nutrients for health, it must be accompanied by an active lifestyle.
An active lifestyle is definitely key. No chyawanprash will have the power, on its own, to turn a sedentary lifestyle into one that is shining with youth and vivaciousness.
A healthy fitness routine, a diet of native foods (more of whole foods and less refined, highly processed foods) and a positive attitude are the right companions for that daily intake of chyawanprash.
