Speaking to few grand mothers who explained the authentic #rasam taste is derived from making it in the “Eeya chombu†and nothing else, got us excited to search for the makers of this unique vessel. Our Journey took us to Kumbakonam and Mayavaram region where walking across streets for hours and asking many shop owners helped us identify the original makers of these products. Unfortunately there are only three artisans left who knows how to make these vessels. Our sole objective is to make this vessel part of every house hold before it becomes “Antiqueâ€
