What does the Task Force Recommend?

The panel of experts has made it compulsory to make plans for national AVGC policy. It has decided to recommend an AVGC curriculum framework for graduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses.

It will also arrange for skill-enhancing programmes that will teach and enhance the skills of the prospective aspirants in collaboration with academic institutions, vocational training centres, and industry.

It will also be the onus of this panel to create employment opportunities, and enable promotion and marketing development in order to increase the global reach of India's AVGC industry. It will also augment the exports and recommend incentives to attract FDI into this industry.

Vivan Sharan has opined that it is likely that the task force will constitute of veterans and significant personalities from diverse fields with adequate knowledge of this entertainment industry.

Sharan further added that this committee will act in the capacity of an advisor to the government, and it would be solely at the discretion of the government to choose whether it will take actions on that guidance.
