Sonia, a member of Anouar Association, encourages and invites everyone to be a volunteer English Language Teacher. Anouar Association is a non-profit organization that aims to help awareness about the living conditions of neglected children and elderly of Ait Faska, a community found in the rural province of Marrakech, Morocco. It seeks people who have passion and heart to teach the English Language to help the children with age ranges 12 to 18 years old in Ait Faska, a community that found in the rural province of Marrakech, Morocco. A part of this goal is to help these kids to develop and enhance their communication and social skills and to prepare them to be globally competitive for their future through learning English. Being a volunteer brings a rewarding feeling for an individual who devotes his/her time doing something outside his/her comfort zone. It is considered to be a social responsibility of every individual to his/her neighbor. English: Breaking International Barriers in Communication The English Language derived from the West Germanic Language being spoken throughout the early times of England where it originated and became a Lingua Franca. Lingua Franca is a term used for a language that was being spoken by a lot of nations around the world. It was believed that the English Language was enhanced and developed by its speakers for more than 1,400 years and is spoken in England, a part of the British Empire located in Europe. The British Empire, being a conqueror of the world in the early times, influenced the use of this language, and later in the United States making it as their official language. It vastly spread in different nations in as early as the 17th century. English became the official language used in the United Kingdon, United States of America, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, South Asia, some parts of Africa, and the Caribbean. And through the years, English was considered to be a universal language, as it was widely spoken throughout the world. Because of the use of the English Language, a person can communicate and express himself with other people with different races and backgrounds freely and amicably. Being widely verse in English would make someone more confident socially and can find a lot of opportunities outside his/her home country. Anouar Association: Making the Youth of Tomorrow Globally Competetive The Anouar Association is a non-profit organization founded by its Chair, Mr. Mohamed Dekkak, that has one goal in mind; to help elevate the lives of Moroccan children and elderly that was being abandoned, neglected and ignored by the society. It focuses on a group of community in Ait Faska found in the province of Marrakech, Morocco. One of the projects of Anouar Association to the children of Ait Faska is to help them learn the English Language through the generosity of volunteers who will be their English Teachers. Through the help of those who will sign up as volunteer English teachers, they will be able to help these children to develop their social and communication skills and help them prepare to be globally competitive through enhancing and learning English. Being a volunteer is a gratifying experience because volunteering is a sign of charity and the social responsibility of a person in society. Social responsibility is being aware of the needs of others rather than just thinking of himself. Compassion and concern are the key foundation of volunteering as you make time to share your skills, talent, time and availability without any expectations. Volunteering is one of the best ways to get involved in the needs of society and it brings a once in a lifetime commitment to help others while learning and having fun as well.
