Along with Tata, Reliance and 9 more companies will make 100% Made in India Lithium-Ion batteries.Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), a joint venture (JV) led by the Adani Group, Tata Chemicals, Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T), and Japan's Suzuki Motor Corp. have shown interest in Plant in India under the PLI scheme.The list includes some of India's top conglomerates, renewable energy firms, and battery makers, who want to take advantage of the government's ₹18,100 crore Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme to manufacture lithium-ion cells. Through this scheme, the government is looking to attract an investment of Rs 45,000 crore.
