So The full form of Upsssc in English is Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission & The full form of Upsssc in Hindi is Uttar Pradesh Adhinastha Seva Chayan Aayog. Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) formerly knows as Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Board (UPSSSB). UPSSSC Conducts group c level competition exams for Uttar Pradesh Government. Initially, the government of Uttar Pradesh established a Subordinate Services Selection Board through an Ordinance in 1988 which was afterward replaced by an act No.7 of 1988, for direct recruitment to all or any such group ‘C’ posts as could also be specified by the government by notification during this behalf. The Board was also allowed to think about the request of any authority, Government Company or Corporation, owned or controlled by the govt for such recruitment to posts thereunder. The Board had a company entity break away the govt. Subsequently in 1990 on 31st May above Board was dissolved and converted into a Commission with an MD and a maximum of 5 members. Further the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (Amendment) Act, 1993 was promulgated to define/vary service conditions of the Chairman and therefore the members of the Commission.
