The problems for Deepika Padukone now seems to be never-ending. The latest news is that Deepika Padukone was the admin of the drug group along with Jaya Saha and Karishma Prakash. Jaya Saha who is a topmost employee at KWAN talent management company earlier stated that Karishma arranged the drugs for the celebrities according to their demand.
Now reports suggest that as managers of celebrities employees like Karishma have to give all types of services to their clients. And now it seems it also includes procuring drugs.
NCB to Quiz Deepika Padukone At 10. am Tomorrow
The NCB will quiz the Bajirao Mastani actress tomorrow at 10 am. Earlier rumors went adrift that Ranveer Singh has requested NCB to allow him to accompany Deepika during questioning citing anxiety issues. However, today NCB cleared that Ranveer has made no such request.
Incidentally, problems for Deepika may escalate further post interrogation of Karishma Prakash by NCB. The agency grilled Karishma for around 6 hours today. So there is a strong probability that she might have revealed more information regarding her association with Deepika and the drug chats.
NCB is expected to use this information tomorrow when it grills the actress. And that can prove problematic for Deeps. When the drug chats became viral a few days ago, Deepika was shooting in Goa for Shakun Batra's next movie. It also stars Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi.
After the news of Deepika Padukone's involvement in drugs came to the fore, the makers paused the shooting. The actress reportedly contacted her team of legal experts and started discussing future courses of action. She touched Mumbai late last night with her husband.
Earlier today, the NCB also grilled another Bollywood actress Rakul Preet Singh who confessed the authenticity of the drug chats. Apart from Deepika Padukone and Rakul Preet Singh NCB has also summoned Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor for interrogation.
