Google Has Rolled Out Their “June 2021 Core Updateâ€

After the December 2020 core update – that was rolled out just six months back - Google officially released their June 2021 Core Update on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at about 6:30pm ET. While rolling out this core update, Google said that they were releasing two core updates one month after another. That is, the company planned to push out another core update this month – the July 2021 core update - because some of the company’s planned improvements for this 2021 update were just not fully ready to be released in June.
NOTE: As announced, Google rolled out their July Core Update on July 1, 2021. This update was announced last month and is now rolling out.
So, What Got and Will Get Affected with June and July 2021 Core Update?
To this question, Google says that most sites are unlikely to notice the impact of either of them. It will only be visible over the coming weeks - if that holds true – as it typically takes that long for a core update to fully roll out. Google’s search liaison also said that if your site rankings change with the June 2021 core update, you may see a reversal or shift (or not) with the July 2021 core update – so don’t be too happy or sad if your site was impacted by the June 2021 core update – it might change again next month with the next update.
