Knee on Belly Transitions BJJ Solo Drills
This is a great drill to practice your transitions from knee on belly to cross side knee on belly, then back stepping to mount with the option to dismount. This is a very useful drill that translates well to live rolling, especially with bigger opponents that can potentially explode and roll you over.
Make these drills part of your warm up, or set a timer to push yourself on a cardiovascular level. Start slow the first repetitions then increase the speed as your technique improves.
An example workout could be:
5 minutes of slow, technical drilling, going from one side to the other. Then 5 minutes of fast paced drilling pushing yourself to stay technical. Mix up the drills and repeat!
